Quick fix foods like carbonated sodas and candy bars only contain simple carbohydrates that will surge your energy level then it will plunges very quickly just when you needed energy.

Here are some low glycemic foods which may boost your energy level:

            Whole grains
Whole grains are rich in complex carbohydrates and fiber. Fiber is needed to help in slowing down the breakdown as well as absorbing sugar. Whole grains like pasta, wheat bread and rice can also reduce risk of cancer and heart ailments.

            Bananas
Bananas are a very healthy fruit as it boosts your energy level and it is high with potassium which is ideally needed to make your muscles work.

            Strawberry
