8 Ways to Get Rid of Body Acne



Body acne may not be a good sight especially if you are planning to wear sexy dress in your next dinner date. However, do not worry there are some tips that may help you minimize if not prevent the presence of body acne.

Here are some ways that may help you get rid of body acne in time.

1. Tea Tree Oil
Tee tree oil is very much effective in reducing the acne breakouts. Just put some tea tree oil to the acne and will dry soon enough. This is the fastest way to treat acne especially if        you are in a hurry but there are some certain cases that blemishes or scars are left behind after the acne had healed.


2. Control your stress level
Stress is not reason for acne but it chronic stress is responsible for acne breakouts in the face and body. Controlling your stress level is the first thing that you should do because acne breakouts happens when you are too stressed or burnout. Acne breakouts are way of your body showing you that it already has too much. Your skin will definitely thank you if you can control your stress level.

3. Take a regular shower
Practicing with good hygiene is very important. Showering will get rid of dirt and skin impurities. A good shower in the morning and before retiring at night may be a good way to clean your skin. However, remember too much of a good thing is also bad, so avoid taking a shower for more than four times as it will dry your skin.

4. Use soap with salicylic acid
Soap with salicylic acid is recommended for your body acne. It will prevent acne breakouts and additional formation of acne is prevented.

5. Eat a healthy diet
Eating a healthy and balanced diet is important not just to your body but to your skin as well. A balanced diet with fruits, fish, and veggies will help you fight radicals that causes acne and early skin aging.

6. Topical treatments
If your body acne is too much and affects your dress plan and self esteem, maybe it is high time that you use topical treatments. There are two kinds of topical treatments, antimicrobials and retinoids. Both stop the presence of bacteria, however, there are some side effects like redness and sensitivity to sun may be observed. Ask your physician the right topical treatment for your condition.

7. Avoid harsh perfumes
Avoid using harsh perfumes. Harsh perfumes do not necessarily cause body acne but it can irritate the skin thus leading to acne breakouts.

8. Use sunscreen
If you plan to stay under the sun for long, do not forget to use sunscreen protection to protect your skin from harmful rays.
